Not that it matters, but PS3 didnt get Case Zero, in case he has a PS3.
Are you stupid enough to think that this dev isnt thinking AT ALL about the famous "Space Marine" who has been the mascot for Microsoft's console for almost ten years?
Give me a break.
I would be a bit disappointed if i wasnt lucky enough to be a dev of Halo or Killzone. I thought Mafia II was bleh.
Hey, maybe someone should ask him if the industry suffers because people like hime let bad dev companies put shoddy ports on the PS3. Ahem, Mafia II?
I think people like him, being a Senior Producer and all, should be worried about more than say that great games have "Gay Space Marines".
Ehhh...go back and play Assault on the Control Room. You'll find that you are indeed right about the massive canyon, however you will also find that there isnt much to do in the canyon and the enemy count is much lower than you remember. Halo's sequels still have massive and diverse battles just CE, but the flow just the same or even better. Im telling you its nostalgia.
You dont have to tell me about all that background info with Halo 2 and ODST, ive known for many, ...
That might be your opinion, but there are still plenty who find depth and excitement in Halo's campaigns.
The problem is your nostalgia. The campaigns of Halo 2/3/Reach are just as good as CE, but CE was your first, so you scrutinize the sequels. Its okay, 80-90% of people do it with everything and dont realize it.
The prequel trilogy of Star Wars is very good, but since alot of fans grew up with the originals, they are like 40 now and dont want to admit ...
Im pretty sure most of you were Valve haters a few months ago, ripe with fat jokes and such.
No. Because most of you seem to think that your opinion is absolute, and that being a PS3 exclusive makes it invincible.
Give me a break.
Fallout 3 is fucking amazing. Just as much value and fun than any PS3 exclusive.
Blasphemy right? There is just no way a multiplat can break top 5 on the amazing PS3 amirite?
Fucking tools. Its amazing to think some of you will actually progress in life.
Im not a fighting game fan, but werent original fighting games on arcade machines played with a huge joystick? Arent analog sticks tiny joysticks? why do people suddenly use D-pads for fighting games?
I seriously am clueless on this subject. i dont play many fighters.
You do realize that the controller is bundled with a $20 play and charge kit right? Meaning the $50 controller, packaged with the $20 charge kit, is $65?
MS wireless controllers have always been the same price when bundled with a play and charge kit.
Peter Moore did =)

Some of you guys are completely pathetic.
A new controller design with an improvement on something that tons of people have been complaining about for years(the D-pad), and some of you still bitch.
ridiculous.
I quit reading when it said "Halo Reach DLC play as Master Chief" and "Mafia 2 Review 10/10".
was good in my opninion, i got over the flaws.
But, in Far Cry 3, I can haz feral abilities back please?
And i like talking to people while i play my games. Dont like talking to people outside of your game session? dont start a party chat. Simple.
Cross-game chat is a great feature to have.
For a FPS, the Halo games has always had a very solid narrative. Most people think Reach will have a simple, sad story about fighting to the bitter end and everything dies. i think it will be that, but it seems like theres a bit more to it.
There probably will be some complexities thrown into the mix based off of a couple of hints from the trailers, and although there may not be an actual "twist", there probably will be something in the story that people will not e...
Yep. In Gears the D-pad switches weapons, which takes like a half second to move your left thumb over to the right. In Mass Effect 2 it brings up your map. In Splinter Cell it switches on your sonar goggles. In Halo it turns on your flashlight and in games larger than 5v5, you have to tap the d-pad to talk so that everyone's voice doesnt drown each other out.
The d-pad has its uses, but in shooters, adventure games, RPG's, etc its uses are minimal.
Bungie, Mass Effect and Valve have gone?
Damn, no one told me. I could have swore id still get to play their games on my 360.
I was never a fan of the PS controllers, theyre too small for me and i like asymmetrical analog sticks. The D-pad isnt used much in shooters and RPG's except for small features, so being way the hell over in the middle of the controller is the best place for me.
Seems like a nice product to cater to the few on the PS platform who prefer the 360 feel. Third party controllers are never as good as first party though, so id be cautious about this one.
So its always been a problem and an embarrassment when MS pays devs off for exclusivity, but its not a big deal when Sony does it? In fact, its always been horrible when MS does it, but when Sony does, the answer is "At least i get to play great games".
Wat?
